ABOUT THE MANCHESTER TECH FOR GOOD CATALYST PROGRAMME
WHAT WE DO
Manchester Tech for Good Catalyst is a programme run by the Tech for Good Alliance and Manchester City Council that connects local tech companies that want to give back with local third sector organisations that need support with tech or digital transformation.
Our mission is to catalyse digital transformation in Manchester’s third sector through collaborative pro-bono projects, building a stronger, more inclusive Tech for Good ecosystem in the city.
WHO WE ARE
Manchester City Council is driving civic innovation, neighbourhood investment, and inclusive economic growth across the city by funding and supporting this programme.
The Tech for Good Alliance is a UK network launched in April 2022 by the Scottish Tech Army. It’s a pillar of the nation’s Tech for Good ecosystem, and links tech companies and skilled volunteers with under-resourced charities. The Alliance helps member companies meet ESG goals while providing nonprofits with digital support. The Alliance coordinates project intake, scoping, matching, and ongoing support for all initiatives.
